The National Examination Board (NEB) is scheduled to announce the results of last year’s Secondary Education Examination (SEE) today.
According to the NEB, the results for the regular and grade improvement examinations of the year 2080 BS can be accessed through various channels, including multiple websites, SMS, and IVR.
The Office of the Controller of Examinations in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, issued a notice on Monday outlining several methods to check the SEE results.

The examinations control office has authorized 10 websites and five institutions to distribute results via SMS and IVR.

Important Information:
- Result Announcement Date: June 27, 2024 (13 Ashad 2081)
- Time: By 10 am, if no technical issues arise
Examination Guidelines:
- Letter Grading System: As per the Letter Grading Guidelines of 2078
- Evaluation: Separate evaluation for theoretical and internal exams
Scoring Criteria:
- Theory Exam:
- Minimum 35% marks required in each subject
- For a 75 marks theoretical exam, a student must score at least 26.25 marks
- Internal Exam:
- For a 25 marks internal exam, a student must score at least 10 marks
Grading Implications:
- NG (Non-Graded): Students who fail to score 35% (26.25 marks) in any subject will receive an NG and will not be permitted to advance to class 11 without passing the grade Increment test.
- Certificate Issuance: Students must score at least 10 points in internal and 26.25 points in theory to receive the original certificate.
Grade Increment:
- Chance Exam: Students can take grade Increment exams in up to two subjects.
- Next Year Exam: Students failing to achieve 35% in more than two subjects can only retake the exam in subjects where they received NG next year.
